Doctoral

Students may choose one of the following academic tracks:

1. Research Degree

Research degrees are the highest level of degree usually awarded by UK universities. Research degrees are not composed of subjects, so there are no grades or transcripts. Their core requirement is the completion a substantial research project and the student's successful defense in an oral (viva voce) examination.

2. Taught Degree

Taught degrees involve lecture classes, coursework, papers or examinations and other relatively standardized aspects of educational records. As a result, students are typically able to obtain transcripts showing examination subjects and grades or other methods of quantifying their success in the program.

Doctoral Degree Program

 72 units | Quadmester | 1,296 class hours

60 units (20 modules) x 18 weeks per term = 1,080 hours + 12 units (216 class hours) = 72 units. Hence:

54 hours per module x 20 modules (i.e. 60 ÷ 3) = 1,080 class hours + 12 units (Dissertation or Equivalent) = 72 units x 18 weeks = 1,296 hours.

The 12 units for dissertation or equivalent are normally not included in the class hour count because of the indefiniteness of its timeframe.

A student may choose to create four (4) research modules from MOOC as an equivalent alternative for his/her dissertation.

3. Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR)

PLAR is a process that gives you the opportunity to obtain academic credits for one or more courses through portfolio-assisted assessment which involves the submission of documentation describing learning acquired through work and life experience that may be equivalent to the learning outcomes in a college course.

4. Hybrid Program

A combination and/or customization of any of the different types or forms of education systems (where applicable).

Because we follow a quadmester (and quinmester) system in a year-round academic calendar, this allows you to enroll at a different start dates and graduate at different end dates.

All of our programs are based on flexi-time and customized format. This is a flexible or compressed work schedules in which students can, within a prescribed band of time, start and finish their personalized workload at their own pace as long as they complete the total number of hours required for a given work period for each major and degree type.

We strongly encourage those who wish to enroll with us to find out first if their intended recipient(s) will recognize our academic degree because the acceptance or rejection of said degree is (will) always (be) the prerogative of the receiving party.

You are encouraged to conduct your own due diligence before  registration.
